影片根据1971年1月发生的大韩航空F-27劫机未遂事件改编，以全世界客机劫持事件猖獗的20世纪70年代为背景，讲述1971年一架客机在韩国上空被劫持，机组人员与乘客们在极端状况下展开殊死搏斗的故事。
